Reason 1001 it is a great idea to have a cowboy for a father-in-law, you have unlimited access to all of the free cowboy stuff you need to decorate your cowboy themed VBS room at church! Thanks Pa and Nana!

Yes, we have started VBS at church and yours truly and the Coach are in charge of the crafts for ages Kindergarten through 6th grade. I was a little nervous to begin with but quickly fell into the groove after the first group and by the end of the night Coach was helping the boys draw cacti with muscles. So I think we did a pretty good job! What better way to serve the Lord than with crafts , right?

On the way home Jackson was asking me where me and his daddy were at during church and I told him we were teaching kids how to make crafts. I don't know if he didn't hear me or what but he said, "Oh, why do have to teach kids how to make crackers?" After I giggled and called a few people I told him we were doing c-r-a-f-ts, he seemed satisfied although he said he didn't know what that was. I love the way he talks! I probably shouldn't giggle at him but it's just so cute to me when he says something wrong, maybe it's how I talk, maybe he just says what he hears. Oh well, I still have fun listening to him.
