Silly Brand

Well Silly Bands have finally made their debut at our house. I'm going to go ahead and be honest and up front about this. I love them, I really do. I have said numerous times that if I wasn't too old to wear them I would be wearing some. I always have a hair band on my arm, so why not a Silly Band. Oh, Silly Band, why can't you make silly hair bands so I would have an excuse to wear them, just saying.

Jackson received his first wad of silly bands the second week of school from a little girl in his class. She was nice and gave him all of the boy ones. Needless to say, I was very excited! Who doesn't like to see what shapes they make when the kids take them off of their arms, come on! It amazes me how Jackson knew what band is what shape on his arm even though they were pretty much the same colors.

I waited for this day to happen just so I could have an excuse to go out and buy some  bands for the boys to play with. Don't ask me why I was waiting, but I was. So the first pack I bought was a pack of western themed bands. Cute really. Well the boys wear them, they play with them, they fight over them and they sleep with them. (Not on, of course.)

Well one morning I was in the shower and I heard Coach telling Everett "go ahead and tell momma what happened to your stomach." I then hear "momma i got a prise (surprise) for you!" I peak my head around the shower door and low and behold I see this!

Everett fell asleep on the silly bands and apparently never moved and woke up with three brands!

Here is the cow head under his belly button.

Here is a cowboy boot!

If you look back at the first picture you will see a sheriff star on the lower right side of the picture.

These are what the silly bands actually look like. How funny is that. Everett has been silly branded!
