They're Not Brothers

I had picked my kids up from daycare recently and we were driving home when we passed our neighbors house and my three year old spotted a pool ladder in their yard. You know the blue and white ones everyone has seemed to acquire at some point in their life including us. (We have one our porch as I type this ) Well my son says "hey that's a ladder like we got!" I said "yeah maybe they are brothers!"  He looked at me with the most concerned look and said "momma they're not brothers they don't have any eyes or even a butt!" I just laughed and said okay. What was I supposed to say all I could do was laugh all they way home.
