Played Out

We had a birthday dinner for the boys Nana on Saturday. The boys ended up skipping their much needed nap. At one point Jackson was rubbing it in my face that he skipped his nap singing "I skipped my nap, nanny, nanny, boo, boo."

Well Uncle Kevin was there and so was Uncle Brandon and this made it all the more fun for the boys. They played their little hearts out.

When everyone left around 5:30 the boys settled in watching cartoons. Everett wiggled a hole out next to me on the couch and Jackson landed on a bean bag. Jackson was jabbering about something and I heard a faint snore. Could it be? Yep! Everett was out like a light!

I had to move to get a better picture of him. Too funny!

It wasn't long though before Jackson had fallen asleep while he was still talking. I couldn't believe how he slept.

I don't know if you have ever watched a child sleep after they have played their little hearts out, but if you haven't then you will just have to imagine. Their feet are still moving, like they are running! It is the funniest thing to watch. He finally quit talking but his legs never stopped moving. Now how cool are you when you fall asleep like this and stay asleep like this for a long time.

Everett ended up waking up after about two hours or so, he's my cat napper. But Jackson stayed this way until we went to bed! Yes, Everett did sleep through the night as did Jackson!
