Well it's official, we are now the proud parents of a pee-wee basketball player! Yep, this stud puppy is on the Sonics team. Welcome us to the wonderful world of rec basketball!
We do have a slight problem though. The age group for pee-wee is 5 to 7 yrs. While J-Man is 5 his bro, E-Dog, is only 3. Welcome us to the world of crying breakdowns during and after every practice, lol.
E wants his turn to play basketball like his brother. He has even told me who the players would be if he had a team. "Me, Everett, Everett, and Everett is on my team." he sweetly tells me but then I tell him he is missing somebody, cause you need 5 players to make a team. Not according to E-Dog. He can play anybody with himself and the Everett Trinity as we now call his team.
He has even gone as far as sneaking down the bleachers to where the Sonics Coach was sitting one night, proudly holding up two fingers saying "Coach, I five." The Coach looks up at me and asks if he is really five and I had to shake my head no.
So now every day he tells me how he is now five and he can play on brothers team. We shall see how this turns out because we haven't even had a game yet! This may be a long pee-wee season, lol!
